After meeting in college in Provo, UT over 25 years ago, Blaine and Teesha got hitched in 1999 and moved to Arizona to start their family. They have lived in Mesa, Anthem, Litchfield Park, and currently they reside in beautiful NW Glendale, AZ. Blaine is a licensed real estate professional, and is a member of the Top 1% of all Realtors in the state of Arizona! He specializes in both traditional home sales/purchases in the valley, as well as second home/cabin purchases on the mountain! He is one of just over 1000 REALTORS® in the world who holds the RSPS designation, also known as the Resort and Second-Home Specialist, which allows him to help his clients navigate the second-home/vacation rental buying process most effectively. Teesha is a licensed Realtor, manages both cabins, and is a stay-at-home mom! Blaine and Teesha are active in their church and community. Welcome to the Wiggins Family Cabins website! Wiggins Retreat at Cedar Ridge is a 4 bedroom cabin in Show Low AZ, one of many beautiful mountain towns found in the White Mountains and just a short 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive from downtown Phoenix. The property has four spacious bedrooms, three with queen beds and a fourth with two bunk beds. Three bedrooms have large walk-in closets. The cabin comfortably sleeps 10 guests. The property offers close to 3,000 square feet of comfy living space, featuring a large, lodge-style family room with beautifully crafted stone fireplace and a relaxing family room with comfortable reclining leather couches and 42" flat screen TV equipped with DirecTV and Apple TV. The upstairs features two large bedrooms and two large bathrooms, a spacious and secluded back patio with large and comfy patio swing and BBQ grill, as well as an even larger walk-out deck in front providing beautiful forest views, as well as plenty of patio furniture and a large hammock for our guests to enjoy. Also upstairs is a fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd find in your kitchen back home and then some, as well as a laundry room with washer and dryer. Downstairs you'll find comfy leather couches, electric fireplace w/ heat and six different flames to choose from, as well as another flat screen TV equipped with DirecTV and BluRay/DVD player. Also downstairs, the game area includes a pool table, air hockey, Nintendo Wii and games, a snack vending machine with assorted snacks and goodies ($), as well as a kitchenette and separate exit to the outside. Outside you'll find beautiful views in the front and back, along with a detached garage and large driveway with plenty of room for up to four vehicles. In the garage you'll find a two person basketball arcade game that the kids will love! The cabin offers keyless entry for greater convenience for our guests, as well as free high speed WIFI and a wireless printer onsite. You'll find board games and puzzles, poker table and chips, extra tables and chairs, and much, much more! Leave all your cares behind and be prepared to relax and enjoy from the moment you start your vacation to the very end! At our cabin, you'll find every comfort of home!
Whether it be taking in an early breakfast on the balcony surrounded by beautiful pines and junipers, sipping hot cocoa by either of the two cozy fireplaces, playing video games, pool, hoop shoot, or air hockey in the game room, or just relaxing on comfy leather couches while watching a movie after a long day of skiing or hiking, we know you'll find that Wiggins Retreat has something for every guest to enjoy!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO WIGGINS RETREAT at CEDAR RIDGE:
From Phoenix via Payson: Take I-10 east to the 202 interchange and continue east to Country Club Blvd (Hwy 87). Turn north and travel approx. 65 miles to Payson. From Payson turn east on Hwy 260 and continue approx. 60 miles to Heber/Overgaard. Stay on Hwy 260 and additional 35 miles to Show Low.
From Phoenix via Globe: Take I-10 east to the 202 interchange and continue east to US 60. Continue east on US 60 to Globe. US 60 will then connect with Hwy 77 and turn north. Continue north to Show Low. This route takes you through the beautiful Salt River Canyon, but US 60/Hwy 77 is a two-lane road all the way to Show Low and can take somewhat longer, depending upon traffic volume.
